Hey my Lovelies,

Traditions, cheers, and moments with the family that turn into memories, it is finally that time of the year for all the Bengalis out there. It’s the onset of a new year and the festive season and kickstarting it all, is Poila Boishakh. Poila Baishakh is not only the first day of the year according to the Bengali calendar but it is an emotion to all Bengalis.

A day that celebrates the new beginning has to be a special one, and this special day calls for the tradition of wearing traditional clothes. Be it, men or women, everyone has to wear new clothes. Not to forget about those amazing, delicious, mouth-watering Bengali dishes and traditional sweets made on this day which brings out the inner foodie irrespective of being Bengali or not.
